COST: $15.00 per member, immediate family members are free. Cost includes admission to museum and dinner.

Please note that the section has to pay for your dinner if you RSVP and then do not show up! Dinner accommodations cannot be guaranteed for reservations received after the 12-noon deadline date.

REGION NEWS contains information, newsletters and links to some of the other sections in ASQ Region 9. These sections may have additional training or speakers that may be of interest to members in our section. Some of the sections have information on local conferences.
Section 0905 in Ft. Wayne is having Svetlana Visnepolschi, the international founder of Subversion Analysis methods for anticipating failure modes September 11th. Forrest Breyfogle, the author of the leading handbook of Six Sigma will lead the All-Day Conference in November as well as present at the Sectional Meeting.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2008 COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Evansville/Owensboro Section 0915 of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the awarding of two $1000 scholarships for the 2008-2009 academic year. Certificates representing the $1000 scholarships will be presented to Ms. Santana Graham of Vincennes, IN and Mr. Nicholas Huber of Leopold, IN at the May Dinner Meeting. Ms. Graham, daughter of Linda Folks, attends Indiana State University in the Ph.D program for Psychology. Mr. Huber, son of Tim and Susan Huber, graduates this year from Perry Central Jr.-Sr. High School in Leopold and will major in Business at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
