On The Border
On The Border is an excellent album and probably one of my favorites, second only to Hotel California. They have some great songs on here. The album starts out with Already Gone a good song with good guitar. Next is You Never Cry Like A Lover an excellent slow song with great backing vocals. Then a rather redneck Midnight Flyer by Meisner the weakest Eagle. Next is an excellent Leadon song My Man. Then two tremendous rockers first with On The Border then James Dean. Then comes one of my favorites on the album, Ol' 55 with excellent vocals. Then another Meisner song Is It True?. This is a decent song. Then Good Day In Hell another rocker. The last song on the album is the the best, and quite possibly the best Eagles songs ever in Best Of My Love which reached number one. This is one of the Eagles best. I recommend it.
