Help!


Help! was their fifth album and their second movie. The movie is my favorite Beatles movie, and the soundtrack is one of my favorites, too. HELP! the film's title song was a hit single and very good lyrics by John. THE NIGHT BEFORE is a good song from Paul. YOU'VE GOT TO HIDE YOUR LOVE AWAY is another Dylan influenced song. Some say it was about Brian Epstein. I NEED YOU composed by George is a weaker song but still not bad. ANOTHER GIRL is another good Paul song. YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE THAT GIRL has good backing vocals and a good lead vocal from John. TICKET TO RIDE considered heavy metal at the time is a great rock song. ACT NATURALLY a Buck Owens number one country song is sung by Ringo about being a movie star. John said he hated the lyrics to IT'S ONLY LOVE, but it is one of my favorites on this album. John vocals are great. YOU LIKE ME TOO MUCH is another George song that is pretty good. TELL ME WHAT YOU SEE is a very good song with good vocals. I'VE JUST SEEN A FACE is a good Paul tune that is kind of countryish. YESTERDAY is a great Beatles song and one of Paul and John's favorites. Paul said he woke up one day with a tune in his head, and he finally put the words to it. DIZZY MISS LIZZIE is one of only two covers on the album. I believe it is the worst song on the album. I do not like the lyrics.
