| The Post War Dream | B | Good song and lyrics |
| Your Possible Pasts | B+ | Throwaway from The Wall. It would have fit good. It is a good song. |
| One Of The Few | A | Good lyrics, but much too short |
| The Hero's Return | B | Don't like the beginning much, but it gets better towards the end. Still not one of this album's best |
| The Gunners Dream | A+ | One of their best. Excellent vocals and I love the lyrics. Very similar to the Final Cut in my opinion. |
| Paranoid Eyes | B+ | Good lyrics, but not much else but singing |
| Get Your Filthy Hands Off My Desert | C+ | Not my favorite, but it provides variety. A little faster tempo than other songs on this album |
| The Fletcher Memorial Home | A | Fletcher is Roger's father's middle name. This song sounds like it would fit good on the wall. Is it just my imagination or does the fletcher memorial part sound a lot like the end of the soft part on One Of My Turns? |
| Southampton Dock | C+ | Not a real great song. Gets better towards the end and leads nicely into the next song with the last words being the final cut |
| The Final Cut | A+ | The Best One On Here. Excellent vocals by Roger, his best ever in my opinion. Written about Roger's attempt at suicide which he could never carry out. |
| Not Now John | A | A great surprise after ten mellow songs to hear Gilmour shouting "Fuck all that" at the beginning. Good vocals and just a nice break from the rest of the album |
| Two Suns In The Sunset | A+ | Album finishes on three straight high notes. Kind of a depressing song. Once again good vocals and lyrics by Roger |
Pink Floyd's most highly criticized album. Some don't like it, but it is
one of my favorite albums. It is essentially a Waters solo album. I guess
Waters fans really like it, and if you are a Gilmour fan it might not be so appealing,
but Roger has great vocals throughout the album so I love it.
