record. "Susie Q" (parts 1 & 2) and "I Put a Spell on You/Walk on the
Water" released as singles.

- January. . .Bayou Country is released and earns a platinum
record award. "Proud Mary/Born on the Bayou" released as a single and earns
gold recognition.
- April. . ."Bad Moon Rising/Lodi" released as a single and earns gold.
- July. . ."Green River/Commotion" released as a single and earns gold.
- August. . .Green River is released and earns a platinum
record award.
- October. . ."Down on the Corner/Fortunate Son" released as a single
and earns gold.
- November. . .Willy and the Poorboys is released and earns a
platinum record award.
1970
- January. . ."Travelin' Band/Who'll Stop the Rain" released as a
single and earns gold.
- April. . .First European tour. "Up Around the Bend/Run Through the
Jungle" released as a single and earns gold.
- July. . .Cosmo's Factory is released and sells over 3 million
copies earning a platimum record award. "Lookin' Out My Back Door/Long As
I Can See the Light" released as a single and earns gold.
- December. . .Pendulum is released.

- January. . ."Have You Ever Seen the Rain/Hey Tonight" released as
a single and earns gold.
- February. . .Tom Fogerty leaves group for a solo career.
- July. . ."Sweet Hitch-hiker/Door to Door" released as a single.
Beginning of major U.S. tour.
- October. . .Second European tour.
