Creating your Home Page

Have you thought about creating your own home page?

Up to now you may have thought it would be difficult. Well it's NOT!

You too can easily create you own Home Page!

All of my pages were created with Chamelon's Web Surfer and Windows Notepad! You need to download the latest version 4.6 of Web Surfer from the Netmanage site. (NETMANAGE) It allows you to quickly switch from the Web Surfer to Notepad's editor mode.

By using Web Surfer 4.6 you can browse the net and when you find a page layout someone has created that you like, use the Edit - View Source option of Web Surfer 4.6 to see how the specific page is written in code. Then save the Notepad as a file and pick out the parts you like! How simple can it get!

I haven't been able to justify a color scanner (not YET anyway) so all my GIF's (red headers with titles) were created with Windows Paintbrush as bitmaps, transfered to Paint Shop Pro (shareware product I will be glad to pass on to you if you will register!) and then transferred to GIFs to be used.

Some great docs to help you with the html language are located at the Netscape site (NETSCAPE)

Additional home page creation docs can be found by going to the web search engine (YAHOO) and typing HTML in the search string box.
