Japanese Koi

I have been raising Koi for the past 5 years. I now have 5 ponds of various sizes. They range in size from 250 gallons to 6000 gallons. The great thing about garden ponds is that no matter how much or how little space you have, there is always room for a pond. You can use half of a wooden barrel (with a liner), put in a few select plants, even a miniture live lily, and fish. Or if you have the room in your yard, put in an elaborate pond with a stream and waterfall. Either way, your pond will provide beauty and relaxation to everyone who sits near it.

Tell me more! Perhaps you just want to see what the hobby is like. Check out the newsgroup rec.ponds . It is devoted to people who have a interest in ponds and fish.
